3D Printing Molten Glass

A bunch of smarties at MIT’s Glass Lab figured out how to 3D print transparent glass.  To achieve this they had to figure out how to build a 3D printer that could hold molten glass at temperatures greater than 1000 °C.  And THEN they needed a nozzle that would extrude at that temp as well.  Needless to say, they figured it out.  They are from MIT after all.  Thanks to them I have this hypnotizing video to share.
