Repurpose & Recycle e-Waste into 3D Printers

Ever hear of an e-waste center?  Me neither.  So here’s the low down…

E-Waste centers reroute electronics (televisions, copiers, etc.) away from landfills.

After collecting tons of hardware, it’s then disassembled, organized, and the parts repurposed. Pretty awesome.

Australian e-waste centers, E-Hub Mackay and E-Hub Sarina, are training people to do all the above.  The “even better” part?  They’re also training people to build 3D printers out of all the copier parts they have on hand.
